This is really quite pitiful.
Rather than taking two brain cells and rubbing them together, producing more critical thinking than is on display in this video, Morgan Freeman simply shelves his brain completely and drops the race card:

I have no intention on being a slave to the state, nor do I wish for any other man, despite his successes, to be a slave to me. I don’t want to work to provide for another against my will, nor do I want another to be forced to work and surrender his property to me.
I want men to be free to pursue their goals without being oppressed by a dominant central government all must pay homage to, either in service or in property.
I want no slaves in America, either to another man or to the state. I want men to be free.
The path Obama has us on leads to bondage. That’s why I oppose him. I want someone with the spine to stand on the Bridge to Dependence and say “YOU SHALL NOT PASS!”
Obama is selling tickets to cross the bridge and promising someone else will pay for them.
Sorry. It’s not his skin color that troubles me. It’s his far left ideology, an ideology that has historically lead to bondage. That’s not the future I want for my children, or my country.

But when I hear him say stupid shit like this, it makes me not respect him so much anymore. I used to like Springsteen too, but not so much any more. Used to think Paltrow was pretty good, but now I can’t stand her.
I guess some people are just so rich and famous that they can insult their fans and they’re fine with it.

Such a shame. I have always thought of Morgan Freeman as a stand up kind of guy who would be smart enough to get past the race thing. Silly me. Liberalism must truly be a sort of mental disorder. When I don’t like Obama’s thinking and policies, it has nothing to do with his race; never has, never will be. Besides, if I am forced to even think about race, as apparently Freeman or scum like Al Sharpton want me to, I have to remind myself that Obama is only half black or half white; whatever. So, which half of him do I disagree with? Who cares?
As I have grown older and hopefully a lot wiser, I have become very vocal about racism labels. On a personal level, I would treat any racist label tossed in my direction as a fighting action; lack of response by me would not be an option. And to Mr. Freeman, please rethink your position(s); I don’t personally know anyone who would disagree withanything I’ve said.
