Attention Attorney General Eric Holder! President Felipe Calderon on line one:

President Felipe Calderon on Thursday unveiled a “No More Weapons!” billboard made with crushed firearms and placed near the U.S. border. He urged the United States to stop the flow of weapons into Mexico.

The billboard, which is in English and weighs 3 tons, was placed near an international bridge in Ciudad Juarez and can be seen from the United States.

Calderon said the billboard’s letters were made with weapons seized by local, state and federal authorities.

“Dear friends of the United States, Mexico needs your help to stop this terrible violence that we’re suffering,” Calderon said in English during the unveiling ceremony.

“The best way to do this is to stop the flow of automatic weapons into Mexico,” he added.

As far as I know, Fast and Furious isn’t operating any more.

Of course, Calderon isn’t complaining about the successes of the ATF program, but is making a statement about our freedom to bear arms. In his world, if the law abiding citizens were just disarmed, the bad guys would not have .50 sniper rifles.

How’s that working out in Mexico?

Doesnt change the fact that a faction from your Government screwed up and gave loads of weapons to the cartel, smart move aye? Not only is it to do with Fast and Furious, but most of the weapons cartels use come from the USA so that changes nothing. We have the right to bear arms to, doesnt mean we look up to it and adore it like you bloody americans.

Mexico doesn’t have the right to bear arms.  Not in any real sense of the word, “right.”

And you know this becaaaaaaause?…….  “Fast and Furious” kinda skewed and screwed any objective survey on illegal Pan-American gun running.  But an intelligent person would conclude that well funded organized criminals would have less trouble and get more ‘bang for their buck’ (pun intended) by buying the same “American” chinese and eastern bloc made  assault rifles directly from the source and shipping them to central America and on to mexico.

That way they could acquire 100 times the amount of weapons and avoid U.S. law enforcement interest.  But I digress.  The Obama/Holder theory about ‘Rick and Bubba’ buying 20 or 30 semi-auto firearms at full retail from some Texas gun show and then risking 30 years in prison time selling them to the mexican mafia sounds far more likely. How about Calderon stops the flow of people in the other direction? Imagine a sign facing Mexico with the words “No More Mexicans”?   That would certainly be decried as racist.

Calderon wants his problems addressed but won’t consider addressing a problem his country is creating for America.   It’s hard to take that stunt seriously.

Let’s put up our own sign that says No More Illegal Immigration
and for the record, I DO NOT advocate making the sign out
    of crushed illegals, OK?

Why is the media burying these gun-runner stories? There is one reporter at ABC who has pushed it. The other major media? Cue the crickets as the Re-elect Obama media buries their heads in the sand.

“As far as I know, Fast and Furious isn’t operating any more.”

That doesn’t make a bit of difference. The thousands of guns are still operating and killing thousands of Mexicans.

Funny:  300 million legal firearms in the U.S. and yet our government can contain the organized criminal element unlike Mexico.

    Maybe its a mexican problem.

Cry me a river.  American guns in Mexico kill a few thousand.  Mexican narcotics in America kill many, many more and ruin the lives of millions.  Mexican pop culture – through the “corrido” or “narcocorrido” – glorifies Mexican smugglers and Chevy Tahoes full of vatos with AK’s.  They are proud of their war against us.  That some of them choose to use weapons is not my fault.  The Obama regime and Holder do deserve to be investigated for the fast & furious crimes, but Mexicans need to look in the mirror for the solution to their violence problem.

Let’s see if we can rent space on the other side of the sign to put “No more illegal immigrates and no more drugs”

Also add to the sign; “No more Eric Holder and No more Present Zero”
