After pitching a fit yesterday about my posts being purged from the Holt County Facebook page, I received the following via email:

Mr. Lester,

I wanted to contact you directly, as I have seen there is concern over your link on the Holt County Facebook page. We have the settings on the Facebook page restricted for links. As you can imagine, people wish to post inappropriate links regularly.

I have no issues with your article and agree that people should be aware of the activities of the sheriff’s department and how they track and spend tax dollars.

I will post a link to the State Auditor’s findings and to your article for viewers to see.
