I had yet another visit from the UPS man recently, who brought me these gifts from an All American reader:

Those are two XLR microphone cords. When I pair them with a gift from another reader, I now have this:

My goal is to have two of these for interviews.

And literally while I was writing this post, another gift arrived.

This time it was a four paneled light reflector for shooting video:
