President Obama called Mitt Romney “Romney Hood” at a fundraiser or round of golf or something else not related to creating jobs or lowering the cost of health care.

He says Romney’s tax plan gives the rich a tax cut and forces the poor to pay another $2,000 a year in taxes.

But…

His claim is based on a report from the Tax Policy Center, even though the authors — who include one former Obama aide and a former aide to President George H.W. Bush — preface their study by saying, “We do not score Governor Romney’s plan directly, as certain components of his plan are not specified in sufficient detail, nor do we make assumptions regarding what those components might be.”

Much like Nancy Pelosi’s claim that Republicans want kids to get E. coli, this isn’t based in logic or fact.

And, if Romney’s plan were to do what Obama claimed, that would make him Prince John.

You know, the villain in the story, aka the opposite of Robin Hood.

What are the chances one of the myrmidons laughing at Obama’s “jokes” caught that?  Nil.
